Just like so many other people I am hitting YouTube and FB a few times a day to see what’s up with April the giraffe. It’s pretty cool. Our youngest, who is seventeen, is a die-hard giraffe lover and I can see why. They certainly are interesting and beautiful (and strangely shaped).

Today’s reading in When God Isn’t There by David Bowden answered a lingering question – how can God both fulfill justice and mercy? I know with my head, but through his words today, I felt it in my heart and have a better understanding. I am amazed every day at how easily he explains some difficult doctrinal topics. I hope David writes another book. I’ll be first in line to buy it!

They are available on the zoo website. It’s a little confusing though. When you go to the apparel section, it will show you groupings of t-shirts, all with the same logo. There is a small button under the image and to the right that says “5 Styles.” Choose which design and check out. Good luck!

I’m not sure I’m the right person for that. You can check the zoo’s giraffe page at http://www.aprilthegiraffe.com for information.
