Sacrifice. Ugh! That’s a hard one and something that I don’t like. I don’t even like to talk about it. Cindi does a wonderful job discussing it in chapter eight. She talks about how God sees our sacrifices and our need for them or our need for what they can do for us.
I feel, sometimes, like I’ve sacrificed a lot. Looking back, most of the time, all I see are the blessings. Most of the time. There are still times when all I can feel is the pain. I love my life and I love what those sacrifices have given me, but wouldn’t it be nice to not have to give up one thing for another?
